The terms that apply when you use SpriteFuse
2026/08/06
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to spritefuse.com and the SpriteFuse AI sprite generation service ("SpriteFuse"). By creating an account or using SpriteFuse, you agree to these Terms. If you use SpriteFuse for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Do not share passwords, API keys, payment card details, or other secrets with support.
SpriteFuse lets you submit a character description, an open-ended Move, adjustments, and an optional reference image. The service may plan the Move with an AI model, generate image assets, process them into previews or exports, and store the resulting project files.
SpriteFuse currently uses Z.ai GLM-5.3-Flash through OpenRouter to understand character and Animation requests and prepare generation plans. It uses ByteDance Seedream 5.0 Lite through fal.ai for sprite image generation and image editing. These third-party models and providers may change as the service evolves; we will keep this disclosure current.
AI and third-party services can be unavailable, delayed, or produce unusable results. SpriteFuse is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, a particular artistic result, or compatibility with every game engine or production pipeline.
"User Content" includes the descriptions, Move instructions, adjustment text, reference images, and other material you submit. You retain all rights you hold in User Content. You grant SpriteFuse a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, transmit, transform, and process User Content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service you requested.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit User Content and permit its processing by SpriteFuse and the third-party providers identified in our Privacy Policy. Do not submit confidential, regulated, or sensitive personal information that is not necessary for sprite generation.
Subject to these Terms and applicable law, SpriteFuse does not claim ownership of your AI-generated output. You are responsible for reviewing an output and deciding whether you may use, publish, or commercialize it.
AI-generated output may not be unique. Other users or services may receive similar results, and an output can be inaccurate, unsuitable, or potentially similar to third-party material. We do not warrant that an output is eligible for intellectual-property protection or that its use will not infringe another person's rights.
You must not use SpriteFuse to generate, submit, distribute, or store:
You also must not introduce malware, probe or bypass security, gain unauthorized access, circumvent moderation or payment controls, resell access, automate abusive traffic, or interfere with other users.
Before generation, SpriteFuse sends generation text to Waffo Prompt Sift for
automated safety classification. Only requests classified as allow proceed;
requests classified as review or block do not proceed to generation.
Generated images are also checked by fal.ai's provider-side safety checker
before they are returned. Automated controls can make mistakes and do not
replace your responsibility to follow these Terms.
Report suspected violations to support@spritefuse.com. Include the relevant account email, Project ID or Job ID, and a short description when available. Reports are manually reviewed using the available project, generation, and moderation records.
Depending on severity, repetition, and legal requirements, we may block a request; restrict features; remove or restrict access to violating project or output records; temporarily suspend or permanently ban an account; and preserve or report records when required by law. We may act immediately in cases involving CSAM or other serious unlawful content.
Some SpriteFuse features may use subscriptions or one-time Credit packs. Credits are service-usage units, not currency, stored value, or transferable property. Subscription Credits apply to the stated billing period; one-time packs are described as non-expiring unless the checkout states otherwise. Credits and entitlements can be reversed after a refund, chargeback, payment reversal, fraud finding, or correction of an erroneous grant.
Credits are reserved when generation begins and settle only after SpriteFuse delivers a usable, downloadable result. A technical failure that produces no usable result does not consume Credits. Email support if your Credit ledger appears incorrect.
Payments are processed by Waffo Pancake as merchant of record. Checkout shows the price, currency, and billing interval before confirmation. Recurring subscriptions renew until canceled. Cancellation stops future renewal; the current paid billing period remains available through its stated end date, and cancellation itself is not a refund.
To request a refund, email support@spritefuse.com with your account email and Waffo order or receipt ID. SpriteFuse will review the payment status, service delivery, generation result, and Credit usage and decide whether to approve the request. If approved, SpriteFuse submits the refund through Waffo Pancake, which returns the payment to the original payment method. Corresponding unused Credits or subscription entitlements may be removed after the refund succeeds. Waffo may also refund directly when required by applicable law, payment-network rules, fraud prevention, or payment-processing obligations. Never send full card details.
You may request deletion through available product controls or by emailing support@spritefuse.com. A project deletion can be delayed while generation is running or while private artifacts are being safely removed. Account or project deletion does not require us to erase transaction, fraud-prevention, security, backup, or provider records that must be retained for legitimate operational or legal reasons. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.
SpriteFuse's site design, software, documentation, branding, and other original service materials are owned by SpriteFuse or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you rights to those materials except the limited right to use the service.
You may stop using SpriteFuse at any time. We may restrict or suspend access for a material breach of these Terms, security risk, abuse, nonpayment, provider requirement, or legal obligation. Where practical, we will provide notice or an opportunity to remedy the issue.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SpriteFuse disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We may update these Terms as the service changes. We will post the revised Terms and effective date on this page. Material changes apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise.
Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@spritefuse.com.
